Fully tiled and the white tiles have been grouted. The pebble feature has yet to be grouted in this pic, but it is done (will have to take another photo :-p)
Ensuite - Feature wall of tiles in shower nook, matching sized white tiles for the rest. Ensuite is two thirds tiled.
Ensuite - Roh tiling...caught by surprise.
At the moment the sink and tap are just looking pretty, not yet having been connected up, but it wont be long.

"Queen Alexandra" - photo taken by DQ at a extended family photo shoot on Brighton Beach. This is my adorable niece (the youngest of the girls) sitting among her cousins stripey legs.

Back with house pics soon xx
Seeing Lisa Mitchell perform - take 2 for me and Dan. She was scheduled to play at Ruby's last week, but due to a huge power-out, the show was cancelled. Her new show at Ruby's is on Wednesday night - yay! Am really glad it is school holidays - I may even get a little sleep in. Should be a great gig though. Lisa's new album is fab :-)

So that's us for the moment. Another full on weekend ahead with tiling and cornice, and maybe even installing my new kitchen sink - if we get it before then (silly woman at Abey warehouse won't release the sink to Reece, for us, because they are waiting on the glass cutting board - crazy!! It's doing our head in a bit - I just want a sink - the bathroom sink really isn't doing the job..lol)
And a family shot - I don't think we've got a recent photo of the four of us, so I'm really happy with this too..

On Monday, Roh had his RDO so he framed in the wall of the stairwell, the downstairs part. Our new stairs should be ready for pick up by the end of the week which will be great. I think the rumpus room is getting plastered this weekend, and then the stairs can go in.
This is the view from our front door - this is where most of our kitchen will be - it's a U-Shape kitchen and the bench/cupboards on the left hand side start at the same level as the little wall so it does go out a little wider than this picture.
And here is our kitchen. Roh picked it all up on Monday too and has already assembled 7 or 8 of the cupboards. I think there must be a mark on my camera lense as that big white dot on the charcoal board isn't actually there...lol (note to self - clean camera lense!) I can't wait to see this installed :-) A real kitchen at last! (well, soon :-P)
When my parents and Nan were visiting, we (Mum, Nan, Danielle, Kate, her Mum and her MIL) all went to the Craft & Quilt Show in the city. Lots of fantastic handmade items were seen and lots of ideas and 'want to learn' skills resulted for me (thus, the crochet..lol).
